The smallest glimmer of Light....

Hello dear my friends ! I have missed you all so ! I cannot believe it has been over a year since I last posted , but what a year it has been !
Since you all last heard from me , I've gotten separated (divorce soon to follow) , moved back to my hometown , enrolled my darling Kat in her new school , been in the hospital a few times , helped with my father who was hospitalized for 3 weeks, my eldest sister had a stroke and my eldest brother has been diagnosed with throat cancer , and lastly my sweet Shy-Shy ,my cockerspaniel I had around 16 years, passed away . Yes life decided one curve ball wasn't enough for me....it used the electronic ball tosser ! Needless to say my Blog ,Twitter , MySpace, and Facebook pages have slowly withered and died. I wish I could have had more time to sit and write my thoughts down , it does help so. Alas , I am finally back. I've been catching up with my friends as well as catching up with sweepstakes!

Now for you all to catch up with me ! Where to start? My thoughts are a jumble...hmmmm.... let's start with some GOOD news!
Kat loves her new school and is now in ALPHA (an advanced learning group), she played softball last year and cheer leading this year . She's adjusted so very well and is happy. We are finally settled in our own little house and have adopted a new pet. He is a Blue Russian cat that is named P.T. (Kat named him for Prince Tariat). He is the most vivacious kitten you have ever seen ! He plays with our dotson , Aubrey all day and well into the night. I think they do not know if they are cats or dogs because PT has gotten Aubrey playing with his fishing toys and Aubrey has taught PT how to fetch lol !

I also started entering sweepstakes again ! I've won some really cool prizes and in the process found out about a lot of new products and services ! I did have a problem with one contest though, and it dampened my spirits somewhat. Not because I didn't win (if you know me at all you know how happy I get to see my fellow sweepers post those wins !!) but because the contest itself wasn't handled fairly. Even though I don't have a shot at it, others who went by the rules should !I have been talking to the sponsor and trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, hoping they will make it right and redo the contest for the others that entered by the rules to make it fair so I won't post specifics yet. More on this to follow .....

I have to wrap this up for right now. Kat has just awoke and is saying she needs me.
